October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2025, Azerbaijan imported 43.66 tons of duck meat for $215,000 (63% more in value terms and 39% more in quantity against Jan-Aug 2024), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan received 24 tons of products for $110,800 (no supplies a year ago) from Brazil, 14.6 tons (-37%) for $60,000 (41% less than a year earlier) from Russia, 1.7 tons for $26,300 from France (no supplies a year ago), 2 tons (+26-fold) for $9,710 (+4.6-fold) from Hungary, 1 ton (no supplies a year ago) for $7,410 from Thailand.

After a break of 4 years and 5 months, Azerbaijan resumed the supply of duck meat from Germany (0.01 tons for $120), and after a break of 2 years and 1 month - from the UAE (0.01 tons for $130).
