October 27, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2025, Azerbaijan increased exports of white sugar by 56.8% versus the 2024 same term, and the main market is Central Asia.

ABC.AZ reports that country’s overall sugar exports for Jan-Sept 2025 amounted to 65,210 tons, which exceeds the 2024 figure of 32,600 tons. The value of exports reached $46.74 million, an annual increase of 46.88%. Last year, this figure was $31.82 million.

The export is carried out by Azərbaycan Şəkər Production Association LLC, owned by Azersun Holding.

According to the State Statistics Committee, for the relevant period of 2025, sugar producers increased production by 21,6% up to 291,200 tons.
