October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The deepening of artificial intelligence and digital cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States is very important.
ABC.AZ reports that Turkish Minister of Industry & Technologies Mehmet Fatih Kajir made this statement at the 2nd meeting of the OTS Ministers of Industry, Science, Technologies & Innovations, organized by the Ministry of Economy in Baku.
"Building a joint infrastructure between our countries, strengthening cybersecurity, and defining ethical frameworks in artificial intelligence applications should be our priority agenda. The partnership platforms that will be created between our research centers and technology partners in these fields will facilitate the exchange of information and websites. Through joint educational programs on artificial intelligence and workshops on digital skills, we can encourage the active participation of our youth in these changes. On the other hand, the alignment of our policies focused on "green" and sustainable industries will enhance our economic sustainability. It is important to maintain the global competitiveness of our industry by expanding our cooperation in low-carbon manufacturing technologies, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly industrial processes. In this direction, the implementation of joint projects on the use of green energy, waste management and the dissemination of applications of the cyclical economy in our organized industrial zones is of great importance," he said.
The minister added that the creation of financial and technical support mechanisms between the countries aimed at investing in green transformation will make a concrete contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: "Another strategic area is space technology and advanced engineering. We must make joint progress in space through joint satellite projects, surveillance systems, and educational programs. Joint projects on satellite development and space observations to be realized in these areas, will increase our regional credibility."
