October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, the trade transactions between Azerbaijan and the U.S. amounted to $1.01 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Customs Committee, that the indicator is $37.1 million, or 3.8% more against the 2024 same term.

Trade turnover with the U.S. made up 2.85% of Azerbaijan's overall trade turnover. Thus, the U.S. took the 6th place in the ranking of countries in which Azerbaijan carried out the largest number of trade operations for the reported term.

For Jan-Sept 2025, exports of products from Azerbaijan to the U.S. for $48.4 million were recorded ($65.015 million, or 2.3-fold less versus Jan-Sept 2024).

At the same time, import operations from the U.S. to Azerbaijan were conducted for $961.6 million ($102.2 million or 11.9% more versus Jan-Sept 2024). Thus, the U.S. ranked 4th among the countries importing the largest volume of Azerbaijani products.

Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $35.375 bn ($877 million, or 2.5% more against Jan-Sept 2024).

$18.606 bn of foreign trade turnover accounted for exports and $16.769 bn  for imports. Compared with Jan-Sept 2024, exports declined by $1.248 bn or 6.3%, while imports increased by $2.126 bn or 14.5%.

Eventually, foreign trade surplus amounted to $1.837 bn ($3.374 bn, or 2.8-fold less than a year ago).
