Auto giant BYD recalls 116,000 Tang and Yuan Pro models from the market due to defects

October 17, Fineko/abc.az. BYD, the largest Chinese automaker, is withdrawing 116,000 Tang and Yuan Pro models from the market due to technical malfunctions.

ABC.AZ reports that the company informed the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China about this. BYD is recalling 44,500 Tang crossovers manufactured from March 28, 2015 to July 28, 2017, due to possible problems with the electric motor.

71,200 Yuan Pro crossovers produced between February 6, 2021 and August 5, 2022, are also subject to recall due to incorrectly installed battery pads. BYD's official car dealers will repair and eliminate defects free of charge.
