October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, the largest number of home buyers in Turkey were still Russian citizens.

ABC.AZ informs, with reference to the Statistical Office of Turkey, 2,520 apartments have been sold to them over the past 9 months. This is 1,115 units or 30.7% less than in the first 9 months of last year.

In September alone, Russians purchased 267 apartments in Turkey, which is 79 units or 22.8% less than in the same month last year.

The next place was taken by Iranian citizens. In the first 9 months of this year, they sold 1,327 apartments in this country, which is 228 units or 14.7% less than a year earlier. And in September, 202 apartments were sold to Iranians, which is 39 apartments or 23.9% more than in the same month last year.

Last month, the citizens of Iraq took the 3rd place. Last month, they were ahead of the German citizens in Top 3. Thus, from January to September, German citizens became owners of 929 apartments in Turkey, which is 42 apartments, or 4.7% more than in the first 9 months of 2024.

And last month, Iraqis bought 146 apartments in Turkey, which is 7 apartments, or 5% more than in the same month of 2024.
