October 16, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia for Jan-Sept 2025 amounted to $3.659 bn, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Over Jan-Sept 2024, both states’ trade turnover was $3.499 bn (a rise of 4.6%).

According to the SCC, in the first 9 months of 2025, exports of Azerbaijani products to Russia totaled $883.587 million (a rise of 2.8% against the 2024 same term), and imports of goods from Russia reached $2.639 bn (a rise of 5.1%).

The SCC informs that Russia ranks 3rd among Azerbaijan's trading partners after Italy and Turkey for Jan-Sept 2025. During this period, trade operations with the Russian Federation made up 10.34% of country’s foreign trade turnover.

By the end of 2024, the trade turnover between the two countries totaled $4.799 bn (10.1% more than in the previous year).
