October 15, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump said that the unification of the BRICS countries posed a threat to the US dollar.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Trump, he warned potential members of the bloc that the U.S. would impose additional tariffs on their goods if they joined, after which many countries refused. Trump stressed that supporting the dollar gives an advantage to those who make payments in this currency. He also noted the concern of the BRICS countries about growth of unilateral tariff and non-tariff measures that distort trade.
