October 2, Fineko/abc.az. This September, the market share of the Android operating system on mobile devices in Azerbaijan was 79.43%.

The figure is 1.25 p.p. less than in August and 2.1 p.p. less than a year earlier, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Statcounter Agency’s latest report. Thus, its market share has been declining for the 3rd month in a row (an overall decrease of 9.3%).

The market share of iOS operating system on mobile devices was 20.03%, a rise of 1.51 p.p. per month and 2.15 p.p. year-on-year. The market share of Android tablets was 68.82%, a rise of 0.67 p.p. compared to the month and a drop of 0.60 p.p. compared to the year. The iOS market share on these devices was 30.49%, which is 1.23 p.p. less than a month ago and 0.01 p.p. more than a year ago.
