ADY: Noticeable increase in passenger traffic is expected

As a result of commissioning of Ganja-Mingachevir-Agstafa route, a noticeable increase in passenger traffic is expected, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, the Head of the Public Relations Office of the Communications Department at Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) .

He pointed out that opening of Ganja-Mingachevir-Aghstafa route will ensure the mobility of transport for people traveling to these destinations, living in the cities of Mingachevir and Ganja, Tovuz and Aghstafa districts, Goran, Dallar and Govlar villages, and will also provide a more convenient, safe and profitable journey for residents of Mingachevir.

"In general, opening of the new route will contribute to socio-economic development of these regions, as well as balanced development of the capital and regions in accordance with Azerbaoijan’s Socio-Economic Growth Strategy 2022-2026, including creating conditions for further increasing the tourist potential of Mingachevir," Hajiyev said.
