October 8, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani customs officers stopped the attempt of illegal export of foreign currency from the country.

The State Customs Committee reports that a citizen of Georgia tried to take out $16,085 in a DAF motor vehicle.

"The violator who declared only $1,000, tried to take out money in the radio tape recorder established in a truck cabin," the SCC said.

The investigation is ongoing.
