September 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) launches an intraregional passenger route for the first time in order to increase passenger satisfaction and ensure transport accessibility in the country's regions.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to ADY that on the eve of the 145th anniversary of the railways of Azerbaijan, modern electric trains will run twice a day on the Ganja-Mingachevir-Aghstafa route from September 28, 2025.
According to the schedule, the train will depart from Ganja daily at 05:45 and arrive at Mingachevir station at 06:57. At 07:15, it will continue from Mingachevir in the direction of Ganja-Agstafa and arrive in Ganja at 08:26, and in Agstafa at 09:48. In the afternoon, flights will start at 16:00 from Agstafa, the train will arrive in Ganja at 17:19, and at Mingachevir station at 18:36. The train departing from Mingachevir at 19:00 will arrive in Ganja at 20:11.
Passengers will have access to Mingachevir, Mingachevir-Main, Goran, Ganja, Dallar, Govlar, Tovuz and Aghstafa stations.
It will be possible to travel in standard and standard+ class carriages, as well as business class and first class. The minimum ticket price in the direction of Ganja-Mingachevir will be 2.60 manats, and in the direction of Mingachevir-Agstafa - 6.80 manats.
Passengers will also be able to use free Wi-Fi during the trip.
Tickets can be purchased from September 25 on the official ADY website and through the ADY Mobile app.
