September 24, Fineko/abc.az. Tajikistan intends to expand cooperation with Turkey and bring bilateral trade turnover up to $1 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that the priority areas are textiles, aluminum processing and joint ventures. The parties also discussed development of cooperation in politics, economics, culture, tourism and education. The Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation will hold its meeting in Dushanbe in October. Over Jan-Aug 2025, trade between the two countries amounted to $277.4 million (+2.2% versus Jan-Aug 2024).
