September 20, Fineko/abc.az. Paid traffic zones will be established in Baku.

According to ABC.AZ, this is reflected in the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev “On certain measures to improve the field of regular passenger transportation by motor vehicles.”

Within three months, the Cabinet of Ministers must prepare and submit to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan proposals regarding the creation of paid traffic zones within the administrative territory of Baku city and the amount of the fee for the entry of vehicles into these zones.

The fee for vehicles entering the designated paid traffic zones in the administrative territory of Baku will become one of the sources of financing for the “Public Transport” Targeted Budget Fund.
