September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jul 2025, Azerbaijan exported 70,830 tons of potatoes for $28.1 million.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, the figure is 37% more in value and 47% more in quantity against Jan-Jul 2024.

For the past 7 months, Azerbaijan exported 59,376 tons (+40%) of potatoes for $22.7 million (24% more) to Russia, 5,693 tons (+2.7-fold) for $3.15 million (+3-fold) to Belarus, 4,394 tons (+50%) for $1.8 million (+95%), to Georgia - 1,000 tons (+52%) for $303,400 (+49%), to Kazakhstan - 214 tons (+5-fold) for $85,400 (+5-fold).

In 2024, Russia accounted for 88% of the 48,345 tons of potatoes exported by Azerbaijan.
