September 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jul 2025, Azerbaijan imported 257.32 tons (+2.8-fold) of cherries and sweet cherries for $288,840 (+2-fold) from foreign countries.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan imported 107.88 tons (+ 3-fold) of products from Iran for $145,640 (+ 3-fold), 148.66 tons (no supplies a year earlier) from Russia for $136,620, 0.42 tons (-45%) for $3,400 (-44%) from Chile, 0.24 tons for $1,930 from China, 0.05 tons (-58%) for $920 (-8%) from Argentina.

Azerbaijan resumed imports from the U.S. (0.01 tons for $300) after a break of 7 years and 5 months, as well as from China after a break of 12 years and 6 months.
