September 18, Fineko/abc.az. This August, Azerbaijan ranked 76th among 154 countries on average speed of fixed broadband Internet access (83.95 Mbps), rising by 5 positions compared to July.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Speedtest Global Index that average speed of fixed broadband Internet access in the country increased by 85% compared to a year ago (45.47 Mbit/s).

Singapore took the 1st place on fixed broadband Internet access last month (394.3 Mbit/s), and Syria took the last (3.35 Mbit/s).

Azerbaijan in August rose by 5 positions in terms of mobile Internet speed compared to July, ranking 51st among 103 countries with speed of 76.61 Mbit/S.

The UAE took the 1st place on mobile Internet speed (614.42 Mbit/s), and the last - Bolivia (14.69 Mbit/s).
