September 18, Fineko/abc.az. From January to July of this year, Azerbaijan exported 54,387 tons of apples abroad worth $38.3 million.

This is 62% more in value terms and 54% more in volume compared to the same period in 2024, ABC.AZ reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, exports to Russia amounted to $34.6 million (69% more than a year earlier) with a volume of 49,905 tons (+64%); to Turkey — $1.11 million with a volume of 744.21 tons (there were no deliveries a year ago); to the UAE — $907 thousand (+23%) with a volume of 1,016 tons (–23%); to Kazakhstan — $635 thousand (+2.3%) with a volume of 1,575 tons (+3.6%); to Uzbekistan — $633 thousand (–49%) with a volume of 542 tons (–60%).

In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 54,387 tons of apples, of which 91.8% went to Russia.
