Azerbaijan reports decline in vehicle production over eight months

September 12, Fineko/abc.az. In January–August 2025, Azerbaijan’s automobile production saw a decline.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the State Statistics Committee, 2,309 passenger cars were produced during the period, 12.1% fewer than in the same period last year.

Production of trucks fell even more sharply, with only 220 units manufactured, a 43.6% decrease compared to the previous year.

Currently, stockpiles include 16 passenger cars and 61 trucks.
