September 11, Fineko/abc.az. In recent days, there has been a rise in cases of cyber fraud under the guise of online ticket sales for theater performances, concerts, and exhibitions.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the Electronic Security Service (SES), that scammers operate through fake websites, such as theatre-stage.live. Using these sites, they lure citizens with offers of limited-time tickets or discounts, creating a sense of urgency. This method is used to obtain bank card details and other personal information.

"Addressing the public, SES recommends not clicking on suspicious links received in messages from unknown sources, never sharing bank card or other personal data, and purchasing products and services only through official sales platforms. It is also essential to verify the authenticity of suspicious notifications through official sources," SES advised.
