September 9, Fineko/abc.az. In Kazakhstan, a separate agency will be created on the basis of the Ministry of Digital Development to ensure the productive advancement of AI technologies in the republic. According to ABC.AZ, this was announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

He noted that with the establishment of a specialized institution, the republic will be able to respond more flexibly to the challenges of modern times. One of the Deputy Prime Ministers will head the new ministry. Its scope of work will include big data and the digital economy. Responsibility for innovation policy will remain with the Ministry of Science.
