September 5, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, said that it is necessary to make the country's economy a "high-wage economy."
According to ABC.AZ, the Russian president said that this is precisely what the state's strategy is aimed at.
"The development of the Far East, the Arctic, and the construction of the economy of the future should lead to an increase in the well-being of people and their incomes, to a structural change in employment in favor of skilled, high-paying jobs," Putin said.
He summarized that this is not populism, but an idea that makes economic sense.
