September 3, Fineko/abc.az – In January–June this year, Azerbaijan imported 1,497 kg of jewelry (made of silver and other precious metals) worth $18.82 million.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Statistics Committee, that this is 9% less in value and 20% less in quantity compared to the same period in 2024.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 33.7 kg (down 13%) of products worth $9.26 million (down 12%) from Italy; 10.72 kg (down 17%) of products worth $2.18 million (down 11%) from Switzerland; 19.1 kg (up 46%) of products worth $1.33 million (up 54%) from India; 3.71 kg (up 3%) of products worth $1.3 million (up 48%) from France; 558 kg (down 36%) of products worth $904,000 (down 23%) from Türkiye; 0.01 kg of products worth $1,500 from Austria (resumed after 1 year and 8 months).

After a break of 1 year and 8 months, Azerbaijan resumed supplies from Austria.
