September 2, Fineko/abc.az. In August 2025, Google’s search engine share across all platforms (desktop, mobile, and tablet) in Azerbaijan stood at 80.72% (81.28% in July and 89.86% a year ago).

This is 0.56 percentage points lower than in July and 9.14 percentage points lower than in August 2024, ABC.az reports, citing the latest Statcounter report. Thus, Google’s market share in July fell by 10.2% compared to the same month last year.

Yandex, the second-largest search engine, holds a 16.77% share, up 0.37 percentage points from the previous month and 8.49 percentage points year-on-year.

Bing’s market share grew by 0.08 percentage points month-on-month and 0.03 percentage points year-on-year, reaching 1.31%.

DuckDuckGo, in fourth place, rose 0.05 percentage points over the month and 0.38 percentage points year-on-year to 0.58%.

Yahoo, rounding out the top five, increased 0.05 percentage points over the month and 0.18 percentage points year-on-year to 0.52%.
