August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, Hajigabul district accounted for 4,996 units, or 83.3% of passenger cars produced in Azerbaijan.

According to ABC.AZ, citing data from the State Statistics Committee, compared to 2023 production in Hajigabul increased by 1,857 units or 59%, and compared to 2022 by 3,657 units or 3.7 times.

Last year, Hajigabul also produced 188 trucks (55% less than a year earlier, but 8 times more over the past 3 years) and 120 units of public transport (+7% and +8%).

In 2024, 690 passenger cars were produced in Neftchala district (+23% and +1.2%), and 312 in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (+87% and 11 times). It should be noted that passenger cars in Azerbaijan are produced at the Neftchala Automobile Plant, the Hajigabul Industrial Park automobile plant, and the Nakhchivan Automobile Plant located in the Autonomous Republic.
