August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, Azerbaijan produced 120 units of public passenger transport.

This is 7% more than in 2023 and 60 times more than in 2020, reports ABC.AZ citing data from the State Statistics Committee. Last year, 6,815 cars were produced in the country (43% more than a year ago and 3.2 times more than in the past five years), including 5,998 passenger cars (+55% and threefold growth), 697 trucks (-13% and 3.4 times growth).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan also produced 20 trailers and semi-trailers, which is 19 or 20 times more than a year ago. Over the past five years, trailer and semi-trailer production increased by 5.3%.
