Azerbaijan’s ICT Agency ends last year with a loss

August 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Information and Communication Technologies Agency (IKTA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan ended 2024 with a loss of 3.74 million manats.

According to ABC.AZ, citing Report, in 2023 the agency’s net loss amounted to 864,000 manats. In 2024, the agency had no revenue.

Administrative expenses for the reporting year reached 3.654 million manats (a twofold increase), with the rest being other expenses. As of January 1, 2025, the agency’s assets amounted to 281,000 manats (+40.5% year-on-year).

During the reporting period, the agency’s liabilities increased 20.7 times, reaching 1.389 million manats, while the capital deficit was estimated at 1.108 million manats.
