August 26, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the number of mobile subscribers in Azerbaijan reached 11,323,000, compared to 10,344,300 five years earlier. According to ABC.AZ, citing data from the State Statistics Committee, the largest number of mobile subscribers in the country is in Baku (5,191,400), which is 6% more than in the previous year (2023).

The top five regions by number of mobile subscribers also include Absheron-Khizi (985,300), Ganja-Dashkasan (659,600), Central Aran (548,500), and Lankaran-Astara (542,500). As of the same date, the number of mobile subscribers in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic exceeded half a million (501,300).
