August 25, Fineko/abc.az. In January–July this year, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and China amounted to 2 billion 502.654 million US dollars, Apa reports, citing the State Customs Committee.

This figure is 26.8% higher compared to the same period last year.

China accounted for 18.34% of Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover during the seven months.

Exports from Azerbaijan to China totaled 53.294 million US dollars, 4.5 times more than in the same period of 2024, making up 0.35% of Azerbaijan’s total exports.

Meanwhile, imports from China to Azerbaijan increased by 24.8% to 2 billion 449.36 million US dollars, accounting for 17.99% of Azerbaijan’s total imports.
