August 22, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in January–July this year amounted to $154 million. According to ABC.AZ, this was stated in the report of the State Customs Committee.

The report notes that this is $107.3 million, or 41.1% less than in the same period of 2024. During the reporting period, trade with Turkmenistan accounted for 0.57% of Azerbaijan’s total foreign trade turnover. From January to July of this year, Azerbaijan exported products worth $37.2 million to Turkmenistan, which is $15.6 million, or 29.5% less compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, imports from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan during January–July 2025 amounted to $143.8 million, which is $91.7 million, or 44% less than a year earlier.
