August 14, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 7 months of 2025, 7,120,100 tons of cargo were transported by rail along transport corridors, 3,752,200 tons by sea, and 5,307,700 tons by road, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee. 

The volume of cargo transportation along the East-West transport corridor reached 8,300,800 tons, including 4,088,900 tons along the Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor, 4,690,500 tons along the North–South transport corridor, and 2,930,400 tons along the North-West transport corridor, 258,200 tons along the South-West transport corridor.

Transit cargo made up 45.8% of the cargo carried by rail, 42.3% by road, and 95.1% by sea.
