Azerbaijan is among leaders on foreign direct investments in Turkey

August 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is among the countries that have invested the largest volume of foreign direct investments in the Turkish economy in the first half of 2025.

The head of the Office of Investments & Finance of the Turkish Presidential Administration, Burak Dadlioglu, made this statement on investments in the Turkish economy for Jan-Jun 2025.

According to Dadlioglu, the largest volume of FDIs in Turkey in the first 6 months accounted for the Netherlands, which is followed by Kazakhstan, the U.S., Germany and Azerbaijan.

"In the first half of the year, a total of $6.3 billion of foreign direct investments was made in Turkey (27.1% more versus Jan-Jun 2024). This is another evidence of investors' confidence in the government's economic program," he said.
According to the Association of Foreign Investors of Turkey (YASED), for Jan-Jun 2025, 5% of FDIs in the Turkish economy accounted for Azerbaijan.
In total, FDIs for $281 billion have been invested in the Turkish economy since 2002.
