Nvidia and AMD agree to pay 15% of revenue to U.S. from chip sales in China

August 11, Fineko/abc.az. American companies Nvidia and AMD have agreed to pay to the United States 15% of the revenue from sales of their chips in China in exchange for export licenses.

ABC.AZ informs that Bloomberg writes about this with reference to the Financial Times.

Speech is about revenue from sales of Nvidia's H20 chips, as well as AMD's MI308. However, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has not yet decided where to direct the finances received. According to unconfirmed reports, the deal could bring more than $2 billion for the U.S. government.
