August 5, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jul 2025, the State Service for Special Communications & Information Security identified 573 indicators of cyber attacks (IOC) on government agencies.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Service, that this figure is 8% less versus Jan-Jul 2024.
"206 cyber threats were identified and blocked, according to data of internal investigations, and 367 ones according to data of incident investigations received from government agencies. 

In July alone, 69 cyber attacks were detected (45% less than for Jan-Jul 2024).

Over Jan-Jul 2025, 314.488 million malicious links were blocked in AzStateNet network, 15,846,700 malicious links through the Central Antivirus System, and 62,667 malicious e-documents through the Sandbox security system," the report says.
