August 1, Fineko/abc.az. Ford Motor Company is recalling 312,120 vehicles in the U.S. because of a potential brake system defect, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
ABC.AZ informs that the recall was initiated due to a possible unexpected loss of the brake booster, which may occur while driving.
This malfunction increases the braking distance of the vehicle, significantly increasing the risk of accidents.
NHTSA also noted that when Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functions are enabled, loss of brake gain can cause the car to not brake properly, further increasing the risk of collisions.
