July 31, Fineko/abc.az. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said his country is still capable of enriching uranium, despite abiding by its leader's fatwa prohibiting the possession of any weapons of mass destruction.
ABC.AZ informs that Araghchi made this statement in a recent interview with the Financial Times (FT).
He stressed that "the path to negotiations is thorny", and outlined the conditions for resuming diplomatic relations after the war.
The U.S. should agree to compensate Iran for losses incurred during the war last month, the Islamic Republic's FM said, as Tehran tightens its stance and sets new conditions for resuming nuclear talks with the Trump administration.
The minister added that Iran would not agree to the "usual course of business" after the 12-day conflict with Israel, which was briefly joined by the U.S., despite the fact that they were negotiating with Iran.
