July 29, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has called on the UK authorities to step up investments in oil drilling in the North Sea.

ABC.AZ reports that he called it the main "treasure" of the UK.

"North Sea oil is a treasure trove for the UK. However, taxes are so high that it doesn't make sense. Basically, they told the drillers and the oil companies: "We don't need you". Encourage the drillers, and quickly. The UK can make a huge fortune, and people will pay much less for energy!" Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social.
