ABC.AZ reports that problems at the border lead to difficulties in trade and logistics, which affects supply chains and threatens the economic growth of the industry.

For Thailand, precious stones are an important export commodity: in 2024, exports of non-processed colored stones reached $9.6 bn, making the country the third largest exporter in the world in this segment.
