July 24, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the State Program for Improving the Transport Infrastructure in Baku and the surrounding areas for 2025-2030, the design of new metro stations of the Baku Metro has started.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Baku Metro, the latter has signed a contract with Turkish company Yüksel Proje to develop projects for metro stations on Green Line Y14-Y17, Purple Line B5-B8, as well as tunnels between them. In addition, the separation of the Green and Red Lines at the May 28 metro station, the construction of a transition chamber, a return tunnel and an underground parking lot at the Icherisheher station will be carried out.

The project is aimed at increasing the capacity of the subway and improving passenger comfort.

The contract value is 35.4 million manats.
