July 23, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Arabia has announced the construction of a 20,000-seat multifunctional Diriyah Arena as part of a large-scale development project for Diriyah.

ABC.AZ infoms that the value of the contract with Chinese company CHECK is $1.53 billion. The arena will become a venue for concerts, sports and esports events, exhibitions and shows. The project will become part of a cultural center with museums, a theater and office buildings and is designed to receive 50 million tourists per year. It is expected that about 50 million people will visit the city annually, and its contribution to Saudi Arabia's GDP will reach approx. $18.6 billion.
