July 22, Fineko/abc.az. According to the researchers, to which ClaimsJournal.com refers to, hackers took advantage of a vulnerability in software Microsoft SharePoint and attacked nearly 100 organizations around the world, including government agencies, universities and medical institutions.

ABC.AZ informs that hacks have been recorded in the USA, Europe, Asia, as well as in countries such as Brazil, Canada and the UK.

According to CrowdStrike and Google Mandiant, the attacks are carried out by various hacker groups. Microsoft has already released one patch and is continuing to work on fixing the vulnerabilities. As a result of the attacks, user credentials were stolen. Experts call the threat extremely serious.
