July 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2025, 19 fake domains were blocked in Azerbaijan, the names of which were similar to those of governmental agencies.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Service for Special Communications & Information Security that the indicator is 21% less against Jan-Jun 2024.

In the first 6 months of 2025, 26 new domains were transferred to governmental agencies in the country (37% less than a year earlier), and 130 new subdomains (17% less).

In 2024, governmental agencies acquired 64 new domains and 367 new subdomains. For Jan-Jun 2025, 100 fake domains were identified and blocked.
