July 11, Fineko/abc.az. Volkswagen carmaker has decided to close its plant in Nanjing, China.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to newspaper Handelsblatt’s sources, that this is the first time that an automaker has completely closed a factory in China.

"Automaker Volkswagen and its Chinese partner SAIC are closing their joint plant in Nanjing. Production has already been stopped. The closure will take place in stages in the 2nd half of the year," the article says.
