July 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan is about to finalize the creation of supercomputer infrastructure, which is one of the next important initiatives that will contribute to the development of the digital economy in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov shared this insight at the event titled "Industry 4.0 Forum - The Industry of the Future: Technology and Human Power" held in Baku.

According to Jabbarov , the supercomputer infrastructure will ensure faster and more accurate preparation of economic forecasts, expansion of simulation capabilities in decision-making processes, as well as the application of analytical approaches based on substantiated arguments.

The minister added that to evaluate such initiatives more systematically and sustainably, a Digital Economy Strategy has been developed in Azerbaijan: "The strategy aims at technological transformation of the economy by creating synergy between business, government and society, taking into account global technological trends and the country's development dynamics."
