July 9, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. has suggested duties of 500% for buyers of oil and uranium from the Russian Federation. More than 50 senators supported primary and secondary sanctions if Russia does not reach a deal on Ukraine.

ABC.AZ informs that the senators who advocate the use of primary and secondary restrictive measures against Russia stressed that they understand President Donald Trump's "disappointment" with Russia, especially in the context of the truce, and share his intention to establish a "long-term, just and dignified peace". They expressed optimism that in 2025 the U.S. president and his administration will be able to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
