In three months, 92,500 tons of cargo transported by air in Azerbaijan

July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2025, 92,500 tons of cargo were transported by air in Azerbaijan (9.75% less against Jan-Mar 2024).
ABC.AZ informs that the cargo transported on international flights reaches 91,600 tons (9.5% lower than in the previous year).
Revenues from cargo transportation totaled 576.4 million manats (6.2% less than in the first quarter of last year). Of them, 576.1 million manats accounted for international transportation.
According to the State Statistics Committee, cargo turnover amounted to 754.4 million ton-km, which is 11.2% less than in the first quarter of last year. 753.8 million ton-km of cargo turnover accounted for international transportation, and 600,000 ton-km - for domestic. Cargo turnover in domestic transportation decreased by 25%.
