June 19, Fineko/abc.az. The prices of aluminum exported by Azerbaijan have increased sharply.

ABC.AZ informs that the price of aluminum plates, which was $2,644 per ton last year, has risen up to $3,078 this year. This is based on the average figures for the first 4 months of 2025.

Over Jan-Apr 2025, nearly 12,937 tons of aluminum plates worth $39.817 million were sold abroad. Although exports decreased by 3.9% compared with last year, foreign exchange inflows grew by 11.8% due to rising prices for this product.

According to the State Statistics Committee, close to 4,883 tons of raw aluminum alloys for $14.787 million were sold abroad for the reported term. A ton of this product cost $2,651, which is 14% more than the national average.
