June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia has not paid its membership fee to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in 2024 because of freezing of its participation, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan during his speech in parliament.

Earlier, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan had frozen its participation in the work of the CSTO, as the organization allegedly created threats to the sovereignty of the republic. Last December, he announced that relations between Armenia and the CSTO had crossed the point of no return. Mirzoyan said at the Warsaw International Security Forum that Yerevan is calculating all the risks regarding the decision to withdraw from the CSTO.
