June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Samsung announced that it will delete inactive accounts that have been inactive for two years.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to The Verge, that on June 4, 2025, the company sent warning letters to users.

The email says that if the account is deleted, it will be impossible to restore it and all related data. It is reported that the old accounts will be deleted from July 31, 2025.

The exceptions are "family" accounts, accounts with "accumulated bonuses" and accounts used to make purchases on Samsung's website.

Samsung says that you should log in at least once every two years to keep your account active.
