June 4, Fineko/abc.az. A regular meeting of the audiovisual council was held on June 3, 2025.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Council, the meeting was devoted to the organization of TV & radio broadcasting from the radio and TV station (RTVS) under construction "Khankendi".

Currently TV and radio broadcasting in Karabakh is carried out through broadcasting on RTVS "Shusha", "Shakhyeri", "Turshsu", "Hasanriz kend" and a number of others.

After the commissioning of RTVS Khankendi, the scope of television and radio broadcasting in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur will be expanded, including the cities of Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdere, which will be fully covered by digital terrestrial television and modern-standard radio broadcasting, as well as analog FM radio broadcasting.

The meeting particupants appreciated the work done by infrastructure operator Radio & TV Broadcasting and Satellite Communications on creation of a modern TV & radio broadcasting network in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as the State Radio Frequency Administration in the field of identifying and commissioning free radio frequencies suitable for use in these regions.
